Today was field trip day for Addi's class. We went to the Diamond D Ranch and had a great time. Addison fed the catfish, played in the bouncy house and ate lunch. This is a picture of Addison with his class (he is the 4th from the left).
After lunch we went on a hay ride to feed the goats and then to the cow pasture to feed the...COWS. It was a lot of fun and the kids loved it. I even got licked on the elbow by one of the bigger cows. It's tongue was so rough I thought it might have taken a layer of skin off!
After the hay ride was Addi's favorite part. He got to ride a pony for the first time. He thought it was "awesome". His pony's name was Raphael and he was one of the bigger ponies.

At the end of the day I finally let Addi get on the old, rusty tractor he had seen at the start of the day. We enjoyed the day at the ranch so much that Addi now wants to work at a ranch when he grows up. I can't wait to hear what he wants to be tomorrow.
