What we are doing now

Shawn is in DC - shopping, eating at a fabulous restaurant and staying at some luxurious hotel...

Going Home

We are leaving in the morning to go home to Memphis for a few days. Shawn's grandmother died yesterday. She was 92 years old. She was a very sweet lady. We will miss her...

Our Weekend

Carter discovered that there are a few cabinets that no longer have the child proof latches left over from when Addison was younger. He likes the storage containers but likes the pots the best.
Saturday evening Shawn and I went to a Nascar race in Daytona with some friends. Those of you who know me are probably wondering what I was doing at Nascar...

Shawn had box tickets and I thought it was worth a try. We had a fun time.



If you are wondering who was watching the kids, this is Karla. She takes care of my sweet Carter while I am working. Carter adores her and so do we!Sunday was nice. The weather was beautiful and I didn't have any housework or errands to run. The boys and I had a little walk in the wagon.
That's about it...another fun filled weekend for the Browns.

Spirit Week

This week was spirit week at Addison's pre-school. Monday was team spirit day, Tuesday was silly hat day, Wednesday was red, white and blue day, Thursday was western day and today was...PAJAMA DAY! He couldn't wait to wear his jammies and bath robe.

Birthday Weekend

We had a very busy weekend. We left for Orlando Thursday evening. Addison told the waitress at the restaruant and the housekeeper at the hotel that it was Carter's birthday. He was very proud that his brother was turning 1! I had a conference on Friday and the boys hung out at the hotel and the boardwalk. We went to dinner and then a little shopping in Winter Park. The best was on Saturday. We spent all day at Disney. We went to MGM, Animal Kingdom and Epcot on Saturday. That's right...we went to three theme parks in one day!!! The kids did great and we all had a great time. We drove home last night and all slept very well in our bed.
